There is something I have been thinking about a good bit for last couple of months or so, and this line brought that back to me. Some lifetimes are bigger than others. That may seem like a duh, but think about it for a moment. We all get one lifetime, but some are much longer than others. The oldest person in the world right now is 117. That's like a lifetime and a half. That makes for one long (or big) life.
On the flip side, there are babies that die shortly after being born. Their life is measured in minutes in some cases. That makes for a very short (or small in some ways) life.
This is probably still a duh for some, but the thing is, each person has an entire lifetime in the time they are given. Whether it's 117 years or five minutes, the person is living a lifetime. So when we start to feel down, or feel hard done, or feel like there is little worth fighting (figuratively speaking) for, please remember that some lifetimes are bigger than others. If you have been blessed to have a long, full lifetime, don't squander it. You only get one. If it happens to be bigger than others, then make sure you make it count.
