Many of us, I won’t say most as that is not the reality, but many of us have finished opening gifts that were scattered under the tree. The gifts always seem to come in a wide variety of wrappings, some bright and eye-catching, others more subdued. Whatever the gifts that we open, there is value for each present, both for the giver and the receiver. That seems proper.
Now I want you to think about the people that you will come into contact over the next few days as the holidays head to the climax of a new year. All of those people come in different wrappings. Some of us are bright and eye-catching, and some of us are more subdued. But we ALL have value for others. We ALL have something to share. All it takes is for someone to open the gift and get to know the person inside. The wrappings don’t really matter. They are here for convenience, and they never show the whole story of the person inside. Please think about that as we all go through the final hustle and bustle of the year.
And now to finish the line, Merry Christmas to ALL, and to ALL a good night.
